As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be:
- Driving the technology space in the company.
- Leading the internal product development.
- Hiring new team members.
- Providing consultancy to clients.
The job requires some key skills, like:
- Java or Scala.
- Experienced in data processing applications like Apache Spark or Apache Flink.
- Data profiling and formats like parquet, avro and ORC.
- SQL
Currently we are only able to hire candidates who doesn't need any visa sponsoring to work in Netherlands.

Key responsibilities:

Develop, improve and maintain our core product over Data.

Communicate effectively with stakeholders throughout the projects.

Analyse and resolve technical problems

Providing consultancy to one of our clients.
What are we looking for?

5-7 year track record of relevant work experience

Knowledge of data engineering applications like Apache Spark or Apache Flink or willingness to learn.

Knowledge of public cloud providers such as AWS and Azure.

Experience with Relational Database Systems.

Experience with programming languages like Scala/Java, or Python.

Experience with CI/CD tools, and Kubernetes.

Proficiency in UNIX/Linux environments.

Very good dutch and english language skills.

Master in Computer Science or a similar discipline.
